Joe the Home Pro is a fully-licensed, bonded, and insured home watch and home inspection company owned and operated by Joe Nugent. Originally from Ohio, Joe moved to Southwest Florida in 2011. Joe lives in North Naples and has two children.
For more than 15 years, Joe has dedicated his professional life to helping others through his career in the hospitality industry.
The idea to launch Joe the Home Pro was Joe's response to stories he heard about people being taken advantage of and he saw the opportunity to bring a more professional, trustworthy, and customer-focused home service business.
Joe Nugent is a certified Home Inspector by the State of Florida as well as InterNACHI, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. He is fully trained to inspect and identify various issues in the home related to the attic, air conditioning systems & vents, bathrooms, doors and windows, electrical systems, foundation, garage, gutters & drainage systems, insulation, kitchen, plumbing, and stairs & railings. Joe took 120 hours of classroom work, a 40-hour lab, plus over 100 hours of continuing education to obtain his professional license. He is also a member of the International Home Watch Alliance.

About Joe Nugent, A Dedicated Young Professional
In addition, Joe is passionate about giving back to the Southwest Florida community. As chairman of the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals, he has helped connect young professionals and supported their leadership development with the launch of the annual In Your Future Summit. In 2016, he was recognized as the Young Professional of the Year at the News-Press People of the Year awards.
